An overview of the basic and extended CSS color keywords sorted by color and lightness.

Extended CSS color keywords

This is the list of CSS3 extended color names. It are the same colors as defined in the SVG 1.0 standard. I tried to order them by color and lightness.

This list is not to be confused with web-safe colors, originally created for compatibility with older 8-bit color displays.
